Family Fun Day!!

Hello, Assalamualaikum and good morning.

Today, I want to post about my holiday on 22nd . on that day, we are having birthday celebration, family fun day and rolled National day. oh yeah, before that I want to say Happy 31st National Day to Brunei Darussalam! I'm really proud to be Bruneian.

on 22nd, all of my family from my mothers side was invited to our youngest and sweetest aunt's birthday at Mangrove Paradise Forest  and we are having buffet lunch, and actually there is no cakes provided. My other aunt planning to buy some cakes and make surprise. She planned to come late and act like she is misguided and say that she's not remember the way to Mangrove Paradise. When she arrive, she text me to take the cakes.( she bought 2 cakes) We bring the cakes to the birthday aunt and ask the receptionist to play the birthday song. when the cakes arrive to the birthday aunt,she shocked and shed some tears. She said that she didnt expect this.

After she cut the cake, my cousin bring Nadia ( actress of Yasmine) to the birthday aunt and once again she shocked. At that time Nadia having lunch with her family, she's kind of respectful person. She shake hand with the birthday aunt and willing to take some picture with my cousins. After that she come back to her family. But before she left, my aunt ask her if she want some cakes for her and her family, but she refuse to. 

After having some lunch, we move to the chalet because my aunt book 2 rooms for us which is 1 for boys and the other one for girls.  we stay for 2 nights .After arrive, my cousins take out their fishing rod started to fishing. The kids, who born 1999- 2013 era changing their shirt into swimming suit and swim at the Mangrove's pool.  

Half of us go to the jeti where there are people who rent jet-ski and the price are pretty affordable for us. There, we played jet ski and having fun taking some picture. We also visit the new house there which is not available for rent yet. The house have 3 rooms and I guess 30 persons can fit in to the house. the special things about that house is its have Jacuzzi.

My family and Ambuyat

Hi, good afternoon. I'm a new blogger. People call me Hazirah and I'm from Brunei.


I believe that everyone have their own favorite foods. Including me, I also have so many favorite food. So, I will start my blog with about myself and also my favorite food.


Once again, people call me Hazirah, im 19 years old. I live happily with my family. My family consist of 6 members, which is parents, 3 brothers and me. I'm the only daughter. My first brother currently studying at Laksamana college of Business, the second one currently do a part time job. My younger brother still studying at secondary school and me, Im studying at KIGS. My dad work as a assistant supervisor of foods and diets at Hospital Ripas. My mother work at RBC. Since both of my parents work at a place that related to food, me as their daughter became a food lover. I love to cook and of course I love to eat. The food that I really love is Bruneian Traditional foods like Ambuyat with binjai sauce, Sambal Tempoyak, and etc. 


Every end of the month, my family from my mom's side gather at our house and having Ambuyat party. Usually, we do it outside of my house and we use mats for sitting down and enjoy our ambuyat. Maybe the Chinese neighbor that live in front of my cousin's house are wondering what we are doing because every time they pass our house, they will stop and look for seconds.

whenever we are having ambuyat party, the people that are rarely seen among the family also comes out to have some ambuyat. well, there are some family members that rarely come out when we are having another function like Tahlil and wedding ceremony but they came out when we are having ambuyat party. I can say that ambuyat was our most favourite traditional food.
